More than 30 people turned out to repair bikes at Freewheels Houston for the MLK Day of Service on Monday. Youth from Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston and Masjid Istiqlal mosque in Sugar Land, high school students from YES Prep and Rice Bikes mechanics along with chaperones and regular volunteers. Progress was made toward distributing more bikes and all enjoyed working outside on a sunny day. As Dr. King said, “Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve.”
