Tangible results

“My day job is mostly ‘pushing paper’ (or the electronic version of it),” says Freewheels Houston volunteer Paul Morris, a regular member of the bike prep crew. “Spending a few hours cleaning up a dirty, rusty bike gives me a visual, tangible result of my work.”

“I cannot say it is always easy, but it is gratifying to know I have helped someone, whether it is a veteran trying to get back on their feet, a student needing to get to that first job, or a refugee needing basic transportation for a job to begin living the American dream,” Paul said.
