Freewheels Houston volunteers repair donated bikes that enable refugees and veterans emerging from homelessness to get to work and school.
You may start the process to receive a bike by completing the form below. Please list the agency assisting you, your case manager’s name and their contact information including their email address. Providing your height and weight will helps us to prepare a bike that will provide a comfortable ride for you.
We have many more requests than we have bikes available to distribute. Freewheels gives priority to requests from refugees who have resettled in Houston and veterans emerging from homelessness who are participating in supportive housing programs. We plan to fulfill requests based on the date the forms are submitted.
We will send an email to let you know when we have a bike ready for you.
Currently, we are not repairing children’s bikes.
