Repairing bikes to provide freedom
Riding a bike is a low-cost alternative form of transportation that enables self-sufficiency for young people, refugees and veterans emerging from homelessness. A safe, reliable bike means a way to get to school, work or other destinations. It provides freedom.
Freewheels Houston volunteers repair bikes donated by generous Houstonians. Recipients are identified by schools, refugee resettlement agencies, veterans service agencies and other nonprofits.
